How long is my session valid after purchase?The validity period depends on the session type—most are valid for 3 to 6 months after purchase, while the trial session must be used within 2 weeks of your first session.

What are your fees?My fees vary depending on the type and length of session. Please click on the right-top "BOOK NOW" button and log in to the booking system (Safetalk) to view the current rate.

What payment methods do you accept?Payments can be made via bank transfer or QR code.

Can I pay per session or do I need to buy a package?You can pay per session. Packages may be offered occasionally for specific programs, but there is no obligation to purchase a package.

What is your policy on late arrivals?Sessions will end at the scheduled time even if you arrive late, to respect other clients’ appointments. Please try to be on time to get the full benefit of your session.

Do I need to make payment before the session start?Yes. Payment is required within 24 hours after a session is booked. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the appointment may be cancelled automatically by the system.

What approaches do you use?I integrate evidence-based approaches, i.e Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE) in a trauma-informed, holistic approach tailored to your needs.

How is trauma-informed therapy different?Trauma-informed therapy recognises the impact of trauma on your wellbeing and emphasises safety, trust, and empowerment throughout the healing process.

What issues do you specialise in?My focus areas include depression, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, sexuality and gender, women’s wellness, childhood adversity, trauma, and career counselling.

Do you offer workshops or group psychoeducation sessions?Yes, I conduct workshops and psychoeducation sessions on topics such as prenatal depression, trauma awareness, emotional wellbeing, and sexual health etc. These are designed to provide practical knowledge and support in a group setting. Kindly contact me directly for enquiries.

Are workshops suitable for individuals currently in therapy?Absolutely. Workshops complement individual therapy by providing additional learning and peer support but do not replace personalised counselling.

Can I request a custom workshop for my organisation or group?Yes, I offer customised workshops tailored to your group’s needs. Please contact me to discuss your requirements and availability.

Are workshops conducted online or in-person?Workshops may be offered both online and in-person, depending on the topic and audience. Details will be provided at the time of registration.

What can I expect in my first session?The first session typically involves discussing your reasons for seeking counselling, your goals, and answering any questions you may have about the process.

How long is each session?Sessions generally last one hour, depends on the category of services.

How many sessions will I need?The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients find 4–6 sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. We will discuss this together based on your goals.

Is therapy confidential?Yes, confidentiality is a core part of therapy. Your privacy is respected and protected, except in situations where safety is at risk as required by law.

What if I don’t feel comfortable with my therapist?It’s important that you feel safe and supported. If you don’t feel comfortable, please share your concerns with me. We can adjust the approach or discuss referrals if needed.

What if I don’t know what issues to talk about?That’s perfectly okay. Therapy is a space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. We can work together to identify what matters most to you.

What if I have never done therapy before? Is it right for me?Therapy can benefit anyone seeking support, self-understanding, or growth. No prior experience is necessary — we start wherever you are.

Is the career assessment suitable for professionals changing careers?Yes, the Career Assessment (90 mins) is designed to help individuals explore new career paths, assess strengths, and receive professional guidance.

What is the difference between the “New Client - Trial Session” and “New Client - Intake & Assessment”?The trial session is a free 10-minute introduction to understand your needs, while the intake & assessment is a detailed 90-minute session for personalised therapy planning.

Are all sessions available both online and in-person?Yes, most sessions are available in both online and in-person formats, allowing flexibility based on your preference.

Can I switch between online and in-person sessions?Yes, you can switch between online and in-person sessions based on your comfort and convenience. Just let me know in advance to arrange the logistics.

What languages do you offer counselling in?I offer therapy primarily in English and Mandarin.

What is your reschedule/cancellation policy?You may reschedule/cancel your session via the booking system, as long as it is 48 hours prior to the session booked. Rescheduling/Cancellation is not allowed within 48 hours of the initial session booked.

Do you see children or adolescents?No, I work exclusively with adults aged 18 and above.
